Set in the heart of the beautiful Limpopo bushveld, Shabalala Safaris offers some of the most breathtaking views, countless species, and a feeling of being in “Real Africa” like no other. The farm consists of four main chalet facilities with showers and baths available, a swimming pool to cool off during the hot summer days as well as a traditional ‘African Boma’ where the deep rich smell of burning bush wood combined with the clearest of night skies will take you to an instantaneous feeling of euphoria and relaxation.
Hunts are guided by local professional hunter, Mike Keeny and are either done so by foot, way of blinds or depending on your capabilities and the terrain, by vehicle. Mike boasts over 40+ years of hunting the entire local area and holds deep and extensive knowledge of the local species available, their habitats and whereabouts.
For Non-Hunters, the local area offers fantastic opportunities to view a plethora and abundance of different wildlife species, birdlife, hiking, fishing and spectacular views as well as the ability to simply kick back, relax and enjoy nature at its most untouched and finest. Please note that the Limpopo, Thabazimbi area is a Malaria Free Area.
